Phoenix Mae and her family hold a special place in my heart. Her mother is one of my dearest friends and I have had the pleasure of knowing them since Nevaeh (now 7) was about 2yrs. A few years ago they moved up to Carpinteria to be a part of Reality Carpinteria, and have since moved to Boston to plant a new church, Reality Boston. Just before they left, I was able to spend a few days in Carpinteria and celebrate Pheonix Mae’s 1st Birthday! Here are a few shots from a quick session we did at the end of the day. To say that she enjoyed her cake is definitely an understatement.

Dan & Sarah Pt 2
Sarah – College Senior
Sarah and I have been friends as long as I can remember. I was asked to take her sisters‘ high school senior pictures late last year, and am excited to now share her college senior pictures as she graduates this spring. We sort of stumbled upon this field as we were driving around, and I’m so glad that we did.
Andrew & Brittany- Engagement
Brittany was in town visiting Becca’s sister, Sarah, when I first met her two years ago. She tagged along with Sarah to my bridal shower, and at the time, I assumed the extent of our relationship would involve being facebook freinds. I never imagined I would be shooting her engagement pictures! Actually, at the time I didn’t expect to be taking anyones engagement pictures, ha! Ok, back to the happy couple.. Andrew and Brittany started dating in high school and have been in love ever since. They love the outdoors, are passionate about their Lord, and are both studying to be in the medical field. Pretty much their awsome. I’ve had this idea for a while to shoot a couple riding a tandum bike in a field while the girl is holding balloons; I’ve just been waiting for a willing couple. Lucky for me, they were more than willing.
Without further adue, Internet, meet the lovely Brittany & Andrew:

Becca – Senior Portraits
Becca is such a sweet girl; gorgeous both inside and out. She has a goofy personality and can make you smile in a second. Our families have been close since we were kids: going on camping trips every summer and weekly excursions to Taco Bell after church for as long as I can remember. I have had the pleasure of watching her grow up and seen her grow into a beautiful young woman who loves her Lord with all her heart.
We are surrounded by beautiful beaches here in Southern California, but I am always dying to take pictures in a field! We obviously have more beaches at our finger tips than open fields, but there are a handful around here that I absolutely love. Becca was up for anything and we had such a great time laughing and enjoying the evening with her mom and sister. Doesn’t she have such a beautiful and genuine smile?

Sneek Peek: Becca’s Senior Portraits
Sisterly Love
Amber wanted some pictures of her and her sisters as a gift for their mother. We met up at a local park [and my new favorite location for pictures] and had such an enjoyable time together. These are some of the sweetest girls you will ever meet, and their bond is one of the tightest among sisters. Not to mention how contagious their laughs are.
